Q: Is the glaze on the sink permanent?
A: Yes, the glaze is fused to the sink in a kiln during the firing process.
Q. I want a sink that is already sold, what can I do?
A. Since each sink is a one of a kind, a sink which is sold, can never
be reproduced exactly, that is what makes them so special. I can
closely reproduce any sink that you’d want, and it will be
a one of a kind. Send me an email, include your phone number and we can
discuss it. Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery
Q: I have fabric that I love, can you custom design a sink for me?
A: Yes. The sinks for sale on the site are designed for the mid-century
lover, but I love custom work as well. I will
make
arrangements to get your fabric or wallpaper sample, and then work up
a design and color palette for you. Once you sign off on the design and
select
your
sink type and size, I'll quote you a price and we’ll go from
there. Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery.
Q: Is custom work more expensive than the sinks
you’ve already
done?
A: It depends on the design and it’s complexity. After working
on the design,I will give you an estimate. 50% of
the balance
is due
upon completion of the sink design. If changes to the initial design
are required, it may be neccessary for me to adjust the price quoted.
Q: What if I love one of your designs, but want a different sink, or
different color?
A: I have six different sink types available, (see Sinks page of this
site). Since each sink design is a one of a kind piece of art, I can
never reproduce it exactly. Designs may be similar, but no two will ever
be the same. Choose the sink, colors or design to your liking.
Q: Since your work is considered art, are they recorded?
A: Yes, every sink is signed, dated and numbered, I also photograph each
sink.
Q: How do I clean my sink?
A: Non-abrasive cleaner only.
Q: Are your sinks guaranteed?
With proper care the sinks will last a lifetime. Sinks may be returned
within 30 days of purchase. Sinks must be returned in the original undamaged
condition; additionally they must be properly
packaged and fully insured for the full value at the customers’ expense.
A copy of your original receipt must accompany all sinks. Your full purchase
price will be refunded, less shipping.
Q What happens if my sink is damaged in transit?
Check your sink as soon as you receive it. If your sink is damaged, please
notify us immediately. Packages are packed professionally, shipped UPS
and are fully insured. Keep damaged parcel, all packing material and
sink, so UPS can fully inspect the damage. A new sink will be hand painted
immediately and shipped to you as quickly as possible.
Disclaimer: Because sinks and tiles are hand painted
slight changes in color and glazes can occur. It is not a product of
perfection, because
it is hand done. Artist cannot be held responsible for natural discrepancies
in glazing, design or firing.
